F.O.B.Sky is bringing up Linkstar Ku-Band services on NSS7, as such the FAQ’s page has been updated to reflect the new modem configuration settings for Linkstar devices. Have your antenna pointed to pointed to 22.0°W and configure your modem with the following parameters using a crossover cable and telnet:

JUCH TECH INKS CAPACITY DEAL WITH SES WORLD SKIES

TO PROVIDE INTERNET ACCESS TO REMOTE AFRICA AND EUROPE

Princeton, NJ – March 14, 2011 – With the reach to connect the unconnected, SES WORLD SKIES, a division of SES S.A. (Euronext Paris and Luxembourg Stock Exchange: SESG), today announced a new capacity deal with Juch Tech to meet growing demand for internet access in remote towns and villages across Africa.

Under the agreement, the Canada-based teleport and ISP is harnessing an additional 24 MHz of bandwidth on SES WORLD SKIES’ NSS-10 satellite to deliver broadband services to small businesses and residents from Nigeria to Eastern Europe. Capacity is uplinked from Juch Tech’s Hamilton, Ontario-based teleport facilities and delivered over the high-powered C-band spacecraft in the 322.5° East orbital slot to customer VSAT dishes.
