What  is VoIP
VoIP stands for “Voice over Internet Protocol”, which is a technology that allows you to make phone calls using your Internet connection instead of a cable connected phone service. You still simply pick up your phone, dial a number and talk.
VoIP is simple and for everyone. It doesn’t matter if the person you are calling has VoIP or not. Chances are that you’re already making VoIP calls any time you place a long-distance call. Phone companies use VoIP to streamline their networks. By routing thousands of phone calls through a circuit switch and into an IP gateway they can greatly reduce the bandwidth they’re using for long distances. Once the call is received by a gateway on the other side of the call, it’s decompressed, reassembled, and routed to a local circuit switch.

Over 20 free calling features included: Caller ID, Call Waiting with Caller ID, Call  Forwarding, Call Logs Voicemail Notification via email, Enable or Disable Voice mail via web access. Password Enabled voicemail, Access Number Mapping, on line Account Management
